Healthy Girl Summer

For those aiming for a “Hot Girl Summer,” I’m shooting for a Healthy Girl Summer.

Not the kind built around restriction, perfection, or trying to reinvent myself before the season ends. I’m thinking about a summer that feels good from the inside out—one rooted in energy, strength, nourishment, and a little more intention.

For me, that looks like long walks, plenty of fresh air, and choosing movement that supports my body instead of punishing it. It means MWH workouts at home, getting my butt kicked by @liz.heiduk, and remembering that consistency matters more than intensity.

It also looks like fueling myself with real food. Seasonal produce, good protein, meals that are satisfying, and fewer things that leave me feeling depleted. I’m adding in supplements that genuinely support me, drinking more water, and trying to make choices based on how I want to feel—not on what is trending.

I want more time outdoors. More swimming in the sea. More mornings in the sun, afternoons away from my phone, and evenings that end a little earlier.

I want to read more books and scroll less. To let my nervous system settle. To keep grounding myself, slowing down, and making space for the things I usually rush past.

Healthy Girl Summer is not about doing everything perfectly. It is about paying attention.

Paying attention to what gives me energy.
What helps me sleep.
What makes me feel strong.
What I need less of.
And what deserves more of my time.

It is choosing quality over quantity—in food, movement, relationships, work, rest, and the way I spend my days.

Because summer can disappear quickly when we are too busy trying to maximize every moment. This year, I would rather be present for it.

So while the world is encouraging us to do more, look better, and keep up, I am choosing a slower kind of summer.

A healthier one.
A stronger one.
A more grounded one.

Choose wisely this summer. ☀️
